Our Services
Full Planning
Full Service Planning is designed for couples who want a dedicated professional guiding every step of the process. From venue selection and vendor sourcing to design direction and logistics management, we lead the planning experience from start to finish.
This service allows you to enjoy the engagement season without the stress of managing countless details, contracts, and timelines.
Services may include:
• Budget development and planning guidance
• Venue research and selection assistance
• Vendor recommendations, sourcing, and coordination
• Design direction and overall aesthetic development
• Timeline creation and logistics management
• Layout planning and event flow strategy
• Venue walkthroughs and planning meetings
• Rehearsal coordination
• Wedding day management and execution
• Lead planner + assistant on the wedding day
Full planning services are customized based on your wedding size, location, and planning needs.
Event Management
Event Management is ideal for couples who have already planned most of their wedding but want an experienced professional to step in and manage the final details.
We begin working together in the final months leading up to your wedding, ensuring every element is organized and every vendor is aligned so your day runs smoothly.
Services may include:
• Final planning meeting to review logistics and priorities
• Timeline development and vendor coordination
• Review of vendor contracts and final details
• Venue walkthrough
• Rehearsal coordination
• Communication with your vendor team prior to the event
• Wedding day management (up to 10 hours)
• Lead coordinator + assistant on the wedding day
Our role is to oversee the flow of the day so you can fully enjoy the celebration you’ve worked so hard to plan.

No shady surprises here. Everything we offer is upfront and clearly laid out in your proposal. That said, we do have a few add-ons that might come up depending on your needs like an extra assistant for heavy decor setups, or travel fees for venues outside the St. Louis metro. If something's going to cost more, you’ll always know before it hits your invoice.

Yes. While we offer two primary planning services—Full Service Planning and Event Management—every wedding is unique. During your consultation we’ll discuss your priorities and determine the best level of support for your celebration. That might mean adding extra staffing, additional meetings, travel days, or helping you figure out which level of service fits your wedding best. We’ll talk through it all during your consult and build a proposal that makes sense.

Yes! While St. Louis is our home base, we are happy to travel for weddings throughout the Midwest and beyond. Travel weddings require additional planning and logistics, so travel fees and accommodations may apply depending on location.

We get asked this a lot and the short answer is no. “Day-of” coordination isn’t really a thing (trust us, it takes more than one day to run a wedding). What you’re looking for is Event Management our version of coordination that starts 90 days out. That gives us time to get up to speed, finalize your timeline, and make sure the day actually runs smoothly. Anything less than that, and we’re just setting everyone up to scramble.

To provide each couple with thoughtful planning and attentive service, we intentionally limit the number of weddings we take on each year. This allows us to stay fully present throughout the planning process and on your wedding day. So this may look like 1 wedding a month. Regardless we only take on one wedding a weekend.

Yes. When you work with AJcoordinates, Ashley will be your primary planner and will be present on your wedding day alongside an assistant or support team as needed.
